Walter Lee Younger is a dynamic character in A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry. Along with four other family members, Walter Lee resides in a cramped two-bedroom apartment on Chicago's South Side. Walter Lee's mother, Lena Younger, also known as Mama, occupies one of the bedrooms with her daughter Beneatha.
