    Scientology is ranked 2nd among all religions. With approximately 500,000 members, Scientology ranks last among the 22 major religions in membership numbers, although the Church of Scientology has chastised this figure. The Church of Scientology claims to currently have more than eight million followers, although it does not have the information necessary to support this claim. Scientology is based on the fundamental principle that the existence of human beings boils down to one overarching denominator: survival. However, the goal of survival is divided into Eight Dynamics (Goldman 22). The most important dynamic is the desire to survive as a person. The second dynamic is the desire to continue to exist through reproduction – having and raising children. The third dynamic is the desire for sustainability of a group. The fourth dynamic is the desire for continued existence of humanity. The fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth dynamics are the desires to continue to exist through additional life forms, the spiritual universe, the physical universe and the Infinite or a Supreme Being. In Scientology, it is believed that humans are made up of a mind, a body and a thetan and are capable of doing great things. You gain spiritual freedom by clearing engrams from the mind. Thetan in Scientology is the word used to describe "souls", while engrams are, as Lewis puts it, a mental image which is a record consisting of unconsciousness, pain and real or imagined danger to survival (Lewis 14). to gender roles, Hubbard was surprisingly free of gender bias in his writings on Scientology. Women and men have been welcomed equally into Scientology at all levels and in all leadership roles...... middle of article...... in many religions, the Women's religious experience is very different from women's religious experience. men in the same religion, and this is largely due to the difference in roles between men and women. For many, there are specific callings, duties and jobs for men, but no equivalent for women. Instead, they are expected to be wives, housewives and mothers. In order for us to fully understand what these roles are and the communities in which they exist, both in Scientology and Islam, we must continue to examine each of these religions. In general, both religions have one thing in common: they are there to improve people's lives and guarantee a fulfilling life. Although the details of each differ to an enormous extent, there are similarities between the two. But overall, everyone has their own individualized perspective on all aspects of life..
