    When they first set foot on this land, the Native Americans welcomed them and helped them. Instead of reciprocating, they decided to take advantage of their nice gestures and invade their lands. After invading their lands, they decided to take advantage of it. The greed didn't stop there. They also wanted people to adapt to their culture. Their greed is causing Native American culture to disappear. In my opinion, Native Americans are somewhat responsible for their suffering. They showed their humility to the Europeans, and the Europeans took advantage of it. The Native Americans should have acted more quickly and shown them that they did not want others coming onto their land. This may drive Europeans crazy and cause wars, but wars still happened. The Native Americans did not make a strong first impression. This is why Europeans continued to enjoy it and want more. Being humble and kind is not always a good thing when dealing with people who only care about themselves and are greedy. I agree that some greed was necessary for the United States to be where it is today, but the things they did because of it make people wonder if it was worth it. Europeans could have found different solutions to obtain this land. Sure, it might have taken them longer to own it, but it wouldn't have caused as much suffering.
