    “[An] example is not the main element in influencing others. That's the only thing. In Charlotte Brontë's novel Jane Eyre, she thinks the same way. Bronte deliberately has the characters influence others in the novel so that we can see personality changes. The dynamic character, Jane Eyre, is influenced by the example of others to make her the person she is. Aunt Reed affects Jane's life in ways that Jane will always remember. For example, Aunt Reed pushes Jane beyond her limits, causing her to speak her mind. Jane is about to leave for school, when she speaks to her aunt one last time. Jane has a lot of things to say to her aunt, not all of them good. Enraged with fury, Jane blurts out, “I am no deceiver: if I were, I should say I love thee, but I declare that I love thee not:” (Bronte 36). Jane doesn't stop or even think before yelling angrily at her aunt. Aunt Reed's behavior pushes Jane into the deep end and that's what causes Jane to scream everything she thinks.
