Every person wants to achieve self-satisfaction. It's how they get it that differs. When a person desires satisfaction, the actions they choose to take to gain it can have a significant impact on others. Usually the individual will do more harm than good. As an individual achieves satisfaction, his actions toward his associates change and frequently evolve into rash, vain, and selfish acts. In the play Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare; characters become self-centered as they become more and more hungry for the outcome that will make them satisfied. The characters exhibit realistic traits that express the philosophy that in order to flourish, an individual's values change and with that, they transform into an unsympathetic and narcissistic person. Actually ; to achieve inner satisfaction, individuals become very selfish, impetuous and ignorant of others. A person may be motivated by other people to act to manipulate their situation so that they become gratified. When Romeo Montague professes his intense feelings for Juliet Capulet, she can't help but doubt him. After all, he's the enemy of his family and it's so sudden. Juliet forces Romeo to prove his sincerity by marrying her. This satisfies Juliet as she has also fallen in love with Romeo who is extremely happy that she wants him as her husband. However, this proves that they are both rather self-centered as they do not think about how their families would react if they found out about the lover's hidden marriage nor do they care about it. Getting married was a very rash decision on their part; especially since they just met. Additionally, after Mercutio is killed by the hand of Tybalt Capulet, Romeo is motivated to take revenge on his beloved friend...... middle of paper...... to gain satisfaction interior. this has already been noted; When individuals take initiatives to self-soothe, they ignore others and focus entirely on their own satisfaction. Each individual differs on how they plan to acquire it. Some choose violence as their preferred method while others will make poor judgments. These actions say a lot about a person's values and morals, but they do not determine an individual's nature type. Good people can do bad things, like Brother Lawrence. Although some people may be motivated enough to ignore their morality in order to do whatever is required of them to gain inner satisfaction. Every person is selfish, but it varies depending on how selfish each person is. In addition, each person reacts differently to situations, but each person has the possibility as well as the power to put all the odds on their side...
