Essay / Why I chose engineering - 552
I acquired 17 years of education in an industrial city where engineering is a very high priority. My parents wanted to see me in an esteemed position that I believe can only be achieved by earning an American degree. Since my childhood, I have always had random thoughts about why, what and how. This mentality influenced me to choose science and engineering as my educational path. With great motivation, I passed my 10th and 12th standards consistently with 88 and 89 percentages. After my pre-university studies, I was fortunate to pursue a career in my chosen field of study, namely engineering. The main goal of my undergraduate studies was to acquire a solid technical foundation that can enhance my further studies in any field.
