    I was never forced to get a job to help pay the house bills, I always had a roof over my head, clothes on back, shoes on my feet, and a hot meal prepared for me every evening. Although I'm not spoiled, I feel like I've never had to want something so bad and not be able to get it. My education has always been paid for, the only academic problem I have had is the one I have now. My parents didn't set aside any funds for my education, and I didn't get my first job until that summer, before I started school. I was able to pay for all my books this semester, but as far as tuition goes, I haven't figured that out exactly yet. I am currently looking for scholarships before settling on having to take out a loan from a financial institution. Lee Warren said this in an article: “Middle-class students are the least aware of the courses. They secure a place at university and are quite well prepared for higher education, although their preparation varies greatly. They are more sheltered than students in lower grades, a little more naive and more trusting. They believe they will succeed and are willing to work hard. Many work outside of school (but not as much as students in lower grades), and they view work as both an advantage and a disadvantage...” (2). To clarify, I believe this to be true because I honestly feel like I've been shielded from the reality of how the world
