During my internship, I feel that my weaknesses in my communication skills can be tested in the professional environment. I am aware that I often struggle to resolve conflicts in a personal and professional environment due to the emotions that arise. I often feel nervous and anxious when faced with a conflict environment. During my professional practice internship, I feel that this aspect of my communication may be called into question in the event of a breakdown in communication between me and my internship supervisor. To prepare for and overcome my communication weaknesses on practice, I would like to draw on my confidence and active listening skills by asking questions for clarity, to help resolve any conflict occurrences effectively. I would also like to prepare my communication skills to confidently adapt to new and different situations.
