    Obesity is defined as an increase in body weight due to unnecessary accumulation of body fat by Webster's Dictionary. It is a situation or syndrome in which "the natural energy reserve of humans or mammals, stored in adipose tissue, extends far beyond usual levels, to the point of harm to health ". Obesity is most often controlled using BMI (body mass index). BMI is calculated by dividing weight in kilograms by height formed in meters. The desirable BMI for children to lead a healthy life is between 18.5 and 25. A child with a BMI greater than 25.0 kg/m 2 is considered to be overweight (Childhood Obesity Survey, 2014). A BMI greater than 30.0 kg/m 2 is considered obesity, and a BMI greater than 40 is dark obesity (Childhood Obesity Survey, 2014). “It is estimated that 80% of overweight adolescents continue to be obese once parents, so the consequences of childhood obesity on the health of the population are enormous” (Childhood Obesity Survey, 2014). Obesity is a long-term condition that worsens due to hereditary, behavioral and environmental factors. Social problems are the root cause of many other problems. Obesity is no longer an individual problem. This is turning into a huge social problem. Let's face the problems caused by obesity in today's world. It is a time of modern living, greater technology, well-appointed daily lives, embellished money and last, but not least, obesity. The increasing number of cases of obesity has made it a social problem in its own right. Childhood obesity is a much talked about topic in today's times. What could be the source? The transformation of our lifestyle has taken us to the top of the rankings on one side and floods us into a heavy chasm called obesity. Finally, the state that American families find themselves in is mercilessly dangerous to their well-being, and solutions to ameliorate the problem must be sought. . American society is now interested in the prevention and control of childhood obesity. It must be a widespread effort between parents, schools, administration and doctors. The goal of these groups should be to get children to eat healthier and become more active. There is no big solution to this problem, but if everyone takes small steps to improve children's comfort, encouraging results can be seen in the level of obesity in this country.
