My parents, who emigrated from Nigeria to the United States, dream of a better future for me and my siblings. To achieve this dream, they sacrificed the luxuries of life so that my siblings and I could attend a parochial school. For this reason, I have always done my best to take advantage of every opportunity that came my way, including excelling academically. This goal of maintaining my academic excellence is why I am committed to working diligently in the UAB College of Arts and Sciences and beyond. In order to prepare for my future, I have set myself various short and long term goals.
