  • Essay / I wandered alone as a cloud By William Wordsworth Summary

Wordsworth recounts a joyful walk he took, a walk that had such a profound effect on him that he recounts it with incredible vividness long afterward . Although I think it beautifies certain aspects of the landscape, it is still reasonable. It is this landscape that must have broken routine practices like daily constitution, and which later breaks a sullen or "vacant" mood on a dull or uneventful day. Throughout, he expresses his desire to become one with the daffodils, dancing and swaying in the wind. His wish is granted thanks to his "inner eye", with which he can go back and experience this walk.
