The teaching and acquisition of second foreign languages is necessary to have various knowledge related to different paths or methodologies. As initially known, people have (L1.) mother tongue after birth. This is learned through hearing and this acquisition begins in motherhood and childhood. Native language learners learn the main rules and patterns of the L1. The acquisition of a second language then becomes intangible. Most educators are tired of solving this problem with different types of approaches and applications of TS-based programs. Furthermore, a number of researchers are beginning to conduct research and propose various approaches. Over time, some of these approaches have been applied. At the same time, each proposed approach is destroyed compared to the previous application. Nowadays, many students who study second language acquisition teaching learn different types of methodologies. These methodologies support effective acquisition. Thus, a number of teachers and students benefit from these methods. This year we were one of them. We see that many of these are terminologies and methodologies based on different periods of history. The title of our conference is Foreign Language Teaching Methods. In brief, these methodologies are Grammar Translation Method (GTM), Direct Method (DM), Audio-Lingual Method (ALM), Silent Way (SW), Suggestion, Communicative Language Learning and Language community. Learning, lexical approach, comparative learning, content-based learning, task-based learning and past method. There are many approaches and methods for effectively teaching and learning a foreign language. Unfortunately, in our country, post-method effects are only visible in private schools. I graduated from public school and only saw this type of program in college. In conclusion, language learning has a vast field and hosts many methodologies and approaches. These types of approaches prove to be a huge support for effective teaching and learning. Each approach has shortcomings. Especially pre-method approaches like grammatical translation and silent methods. The important issue is that the teacher is aware of the differences between these methods. Past times and modern times are not the same, but the teacher must adapt to each other. All methods or approaches should be known, but the most appropriate method(s) should be chosen to produce effective language learners..
