    The piano is an amazing instrument used all over the world to express one's feelings, emotions and talent. The piano is used for entertainment purposes, but for many it is used in a personal way to express feelings in a musical way. Obviously, every musical instrument is unique to its own era and there is no doubt that the piano has been around for a while. It has undergone many changes over time, depending on the modern music of the time. I think the piano has adapted more over the years than other instruments. Examining how and when the piano changed as well as the modern piano is a great way to appreciate its value and uniqueness. Like everything else, the piano has an origin. Stringed instruments had been around for a while, but putting such chords in a box was a different story. Around 1700, a man named Bartolomeo Christofori from Padua, Italy ("Piano"). Christofori then worked for the prince and was an expert in musical instruments. It is generally believed that he had hoped to create an instrument capable of being played with a loud sound, while having smooth control, such as for musical concerts. It took a while for this new instrument to catch on, but once it did, it only got better. Consider that Gottfried Silbermann, an organ builder, built the piano with a small but important personal touch: a pedal. For today's pianos, the pedal is standard and often very important. In 1747, Silbermann pianos were even accepted by the famous Johann Sebastian Bach. In the late 1700s, pianos became even more popular. Viennese makers produced wooden pianos with keys of opposite colors (black for the primary keys and white for the accents).
