In today's world, many citizens are unhappy because they feel like they don't have a say in government. Abraham Lincoln mentioned in his Gettysburg Address that democracy means “government of the people, by the people, and for the people.” One thing about democracy is that democracy is the best way to show equality and freedom to everyone because democracy brings people together to talk about their problems so that the government can try to find a solution to the problem.
