    I couldn't disagree more with statements like "they're just numbers, they don't mean anything." I believe that most, if not all, of the things around us can be quantified. Confusing elements may obscure them, but there are underlying patterns waiting to be unraveled that can help make this world a better place. This passion for discovering insights hidden in data using the latest technological advancements and contributing in my own way to the betterment of society has motivated me to pursue a career in a field that represents the culmination of both science and technology: data science. Additionally, today’s industry is strategy-driven; I want to be a decision maker there, using the power of data to guide businesses toward better decisions based on more than just intuition. Based on early exposure to analytics and a strong interest in the subject, this program will serve as a perfect stepping stone to achieving my long-term goal of becoming a senior industry executive.
