    From the moment you had your first playing date, every boy that was born always wanted to win or be the best at what you do. It is the competitive instinct that exists in everyone, but especially in boys and men. Even as a baby, when another baby is around and that baby starts getting more attention than you, your first reaction is to cry and demand attention. As we age, our competitive instinct flourishes more than any other emotion we experience. In sports you always want to be the best, that's why you play this game. You lift weights and do speed drills to go faster and jump higher just to help you become better than your opponent, what guides you throughout your training is your competitive instinct. Even after we finish playing sports, we invent our own games so that we can stay competitive with our friends and other people, the best example being fantasy sports. We treat this like it's life changing for our chosen team, capable of beating or losing to teams of your friends. If we are pushed to our limits in high school on and off the field by our coaches and families to be better than our opponent in our games or matches, then I can't even imagine how much professional athletes are pushed to succeed . It comes down to the point where you will do anything to win and whatever your coach tells you to do, even if you know it's wrong. The New Orleans Saints professional football team was reportedly involved in a bounty gate problem, which would mean they were paying players bonuses to intentionally eliminate or injure the opposing team's best players.
