The Philippines is a democratic country and every Filipino has the same right to participate and elect leaders who we believe will bring about radical positive changes in our nation. It has gradually come to my attention that the practice of democracy in our country has raised not just a few but many predominant national issues, particularly about how our government should operate and the people we place in this position become in some way sort of ambivalent. . But there is one question that bothers me more than just whether our country is actually becoming an oligarchy, and that is: “If the Philippines ever becomes an oligarchic nation, will it bring any positive change or will he just continue to drag our country down? The system is collapsing, which places our country facing the worst scenarios? » A dominant phenomenon in our country, especially during elections, which stirs up animosities in the minds of Filipino citizens and even debates among academics, is the practice of “political dynasty”.
