The creations of Apple and Samsung have penetrated our minds with products that simplify our daily tasks. People don't need to pick up a newspaper from a local coffee shop to stay up to date with world news. Families do not need to use the postal service to communicate with their loved ones abroad. Students don't always feel the need to ask questions, because now all the answers are in the palm of their hands. For generations, Apple and Samsung have been creating products that meet the demands of our society. The History of Apple Apple, Inc. was established in January 1977 by its founders Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs. The company is one of the largest and most innovative information technology companies today. Apple, Inc. designs, manufactures and markets multimedia devices, personal computers and portable digital music players. It sells related software, services, networking solutions and third-party digital content. Apple began by manufacturing personal computers such as the Apple II, Macintosh, and Power Mac. Sales of personal computers failed due to their high price, far above the disposable income of the average American. Additionally, computers did not have enough memory for businesses to use. During this period, Steve Jobs' vision for the company was not the same as that of the board of directors and Jobs' departure in 1985. A decade later, Jobs returned to the organization and began to work to save the company from bankruptcy. As a result of his efforts, Jobs found himself CEO of Apple.
