Students have the opportunity to live and go to school with other students who have the same ambitions at heart. In my school, it is extremely rare to find other students who also want to do more than the minimum required to pass their courses. Just being placed in an environment where everyone wants to be in school and working towards the best education possible would not only be motivating, but also inspiring. The experience of meeting current Gatton Academy students alone gave me the inspiration to reignite my dream of making a difference in the scientific community.
