One artist in particular, Garth Brooks, forever left his mark on country music and in the hearts of his millions of listeners with his hit songs "The Beaches of Cheyenne", "Callin' Baton Rouge" and "The River ". “The Beaches of Cheyenne” has a storyline containing the themes of life, death, love and regret. The themes of this song extend far beyond the boundaries of country music and make this particular song accessible to everyone. Garth Brooks' "The Beaches of Cheyenne" is the epitome of country music and contributes greatly to the success and popularity of country music by evoking emotions in listeners through a storyline that conveys strong, relatable emotions to everyone. “Callin' Baton Rouge” is a fast and upbeat love song that is able to evoke emotions in listeners thanks to the song's powerful instrumentals accompanied by meaningful lyrics. “The River” is a song about chasing your dreams no matter what obstacles get in the way, making it inspiring and very relatable to everyone who listens.
