  • Essay / Bronfenbrenner Model Essay - 734

My parents always treated my peers as if they were their own children and they always had a perfect bond. My parents' interaction with the school was quite overwhelming. They always attended my parent-teacher conferences, volunteered when we did student activities, and helped me at school when we needed help. They had very good relationships with teachers and, even outside of school, they maintained communication. Every day when my siblings and I came home from school, Mom would sit with us after dinner and help us with our homework and study. She always found a way to make her homework and studying fun and not boring. My community would organize tournaments and organize activities for children to participate in. Including, but not limited to, basketball tournaments and coloring contests. When it came to having a field day at school, my community helped by volunteering, making sure we were safe and having fun. When there were football and baseball games at school, people from my community would come and cheer on the children who were playing. There was never a dull moment when it came to the children of the community. The community always seemed to have something in mind for us. The mesosystem showed how having a family or friend together contributed to a child's positive growth.
