People who work in a small business should have a specific salary goal. They will hire and take into account the effect of illegal immigrants on the American job market. According to Dana Rohrabacher (2007), "they won't be hired, or they will be fired because their salaries now have to be distributed among these small businesses which, of course, are where most of the employment takes place, their salaries will now have to be allocated to other employees. This statement means that in small businesses, people will have to earn a portion of their salary to be able to work in these small businesses, and that it is impossible for someone to receive a higher minimum wage than another person. Not even because they are not immigrants, immigrants and legal people will have to receive the same amount to be able to work in these small businesses, no difference between these two types of people. According to Dana Rohrabacher (2007): “We are facing an uncontrollable flow of illegal immigrants into our country. If we committed to solving this problem, to controlling this massive flow of illegal immigrants into our country, we would have more than doubled this minimum wage.” This sentence indicates that there are a considerable number of illegal immigrants in the United States, which means that some of them are not allowed to work.
