Bill Nye, the “scientist,” says: “NASA is a powerhouse of innovation and inspiration and the world's premier space exploration agency, and we We're well served by politicians working to keep it that way, instead of making it just a jobs program, or worse, cutting its budget. The government of the United States of America is currently facing an economic debt amounting to several billion US dollars. Unfortunately, the government has attempted to balance the books by cutting funding for most programs, including NASA and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. NASA, in more than half a century, has delivered more economic, technological, and social benefits than any other program conducted here in the United States, as well as any other extraterrestrial program in the world. The last thing this nation needs is to cut NASA's finances. NASA should receive more funding because Earth won't last forever and humans will need a place to live, humans are curious about the vast universe they live in, there is evidence suggesting life on other planets, the superpower status of the United States will. be improved, and the economic revenues brought by NASA are more effective than any other government or educational program. The United States should increase its funding to NASA because life on Earth will end and humans will need a new place to live. . Only a quarter of life remains in the Earth's biosphere (Garlick). The greenhouse effect occurs when gases, such as CO2, allow sunlight to shine through, but prevent the ground from radiating its infrared heat simply into space.
