Legal and Ethics in the Business EnvironmentName:Institution: Legal and Ethics in the Business EnvironmentIntroductionAfter working as an employee for the Coca Cola Company for a period of 20 years ago, I accumulated enough capital to establish my own business. The investment industry presents many challenges when investing globally. The main challenge arises when the country you are investing in suffers from political instability. This usually happens in an improbable way that the investor does not anticipate. However, in business, taking risks breeds success. I have decided to invest in the food and beverage industry globally, which is the main focus of this article. My company Thellesi is an international company with more than 50 branches around the world. It deals with canned foods. Among the countries we deliver our products to is Kenya which is experiencing a lot of violence, citizen riots, terrorism, war between Christians and Muslims, strikes by organizations such as doctors and teachers, immersion flights, post-election skirmishes and other atrocities. This country's performance has been quite solid and the forecast is extremely bright. Keeping in mind that our people and resources are in this country, we must look for a way forward. Our employees play a very important role in our business; we must therefore examine issues concerning their safety and well-being, without forgetting their rights. The company's reputation will be affected if the current state of the country does not change. The future and prosperity of Thellesi depends on the decisions we make as a team and a company; Therefore, we should take the best measures regarding this issue for the sake and sake of the future of the company...... middle of paper ...... pay attention to the grievances of the two parties and legally grant a fair and equitable decision.ConclusionIf we consider the option of withdrawal, we will lose a lot, especially by putting our own employees out of work and losing for the company. Since the country is a major financial asset, closing the business will be the last option. It is in this context that I state with abject firmness to our employees and the entire Thellesi society that our security does not depend only on the country Kenya but solely on the entire world. These laws protect us. People who feel violated should sound the alarm regardless of the situation. The laws favor the investor more than the host, which puts us at the forefront. We must work hard, without any fear, to make Thellesi a better place to work and give a positive image to an unhappy country..
