Theories based on the existence of the world are still viewed with suspicion. Although scientific theories seem more sensible and logical, religious theories are also supported by many people. Therefore, in order to teach students about one of the common problems in the world, religion, religious education must take part in educational systems. However, a dilemma arises as to whether religious education should include all religions or only that which is prevalent and pervasive in a particular region. Despite the supporters of religion-based education, opponents oppose religion-based education and come to a sound idea: religious education should teach students about all religions, because it improves general knowledge and level of achievement, and also reduces discrimination. To begin with, religion teaching that involves each type of religion improves students' general knowledge of religions, major historical events and countries' cultures; therefore, every religion should be taught in religion classes. First of all, religious education aims to provide basic information about religions. Therefore, provided that students learn and are informed about each religion, their general knowledge about religion increases. Second, students will have improved their general knowledge about major historical events that occurred due to religious causes, because different religions introduce and reflect different, but at the same time significant, historical events. Likewise, religion courses that cover each religion give students the opportunity to gather information about countries and the cultures of those countries and this information contributes to general knowledge in terms of the cultures of the countries. Undoubtedly, recognizing the world through infinite information, including religions, is a powerful weapon to use to rise in society and in life.
