  • Essay / The meaning of climate change - 1126

As of March 2016, according to the United Nations Population Fund, the human population has increased from 1.6 billion and could reach 6.1 billion people during the 20th century . O'Neill et al. (2001, 2004) notes that population is related to the global effect with respect to environmental change, which is also related to a response to minimize the effect of environmental change. The problem is that we are the reason why climate change is happening due to greenhouse gas emissions from human industrial activity, such as from powerful countries consuming fossil fuel production. Compare what I said earlier, people are also the solution. Right now, if we stabilize the climate, we can also stabilize the population. How? By all means, let governments around the world limit the production of greenhouse gases, such as the burning of fossil fuels and carbon emissions, to help slow the global slowdown.
