    Have you ever heard the saying that education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world? Neither do the animals in George Orwell's Animal Farm. The farm animals enjoyed a freedom that no animal had felt in centuries! Even though the animals didn't care about learning, they cared about the fact that they were finally free. But this freedom did not last long; if the animals had taken the time to learn, perhaps they could have stopped the peril into which Napoleon had pushed them. Time and again throughout this tragic story, some animals have been shown to have a high level of intelligence, and others to have less knowledge. that they can't even imagine. as quoted in the book, "none of the other animals could go further than the letter a. It was also found that dumber animals, such as sheep, chickens and ducks, could not remember the commandments by heart." No animal other than pigs could write. Napoleon and Snowball realized this very quickly, except that Napoleon suffered from an illness which gave him a thirst for total domination....
