  • Essay / Creation of the Constitution - 2111

The words spoken by man have the power to shape and ratify everything in its path. The following questions will do just that. Isn’t strengthening our federal government essential to maintaining a stable bureaucracy? Should we give up the solid fundamental structure that will ensure that every man will benefit immensely from a nation governed by those who are the most intelligent and experienced? As a nation, we must take a stance that will enforce and implement necessary laws by any means possible. This can only be achieved if all parties agree and understand that the rights of people and their protection are the only concern of our governments. A strong government structure can only promote strong business growth and prosperity (Constitution). Anti-Federalists, who oppose government and its full management of the life and functioning of each state, wish to create a framework that will ultimately promote discord to a potentially catastrophic level. They believe the Constitution only supports the rich; that it suppresses freedom and human rights (Anti-Federalists versus Federalists 1), these words contain no truth. As our comrade Alexander Hamilton said: “Why was government established? Because the passions of man will not conform to the dictates of reason and justice without constraint” (Famous Quotes). The Federalist Party was one of the first two political parties to form in United States history. The name Federalist was applied to the group favoring ratification of the Constitution. Their members favored a strong central government that supported a more consolidated government rather than a loose "confederacy" of semi-sovereigns...... middle of paper ...... 89-1860.
