    Leadership is a person's ability to influence other people to perform certain tasks or behave in a certain way in order to achieve a certain goal. A good leader must therefore evaluate different situations to determine which approach to take to achieve the desired things. Effective leaders are usually not born; they are done. This means that no one is automatically a leader, even with formal authority; learning to manage your followers is what makes an effective leader. Any organization or group needs good leadership to successfully achieve its goals. Leaders play the role of unifying all the efforts of different individuals towards a common goal. The ability to get followers to willingly give up their personal goals and interests to achieve common organizational goals is a key skill that effective leaders must possess. Effective leadership means getting the best out of those who follow you. It is important for leaders to understand that the environment is very dynamic. So there is no guarantee that whatever approach works today will work tomorrow or in a different context. This means that leaders must be responsive to changing situations while demonstrating leadership. It would be unwise to imagine that there is a single leadership style suited to every occasion. Different situations require varying leadership styles. Common leadership styles include: authoritarian style, democratic style, charismatic style, laissez-faire, and transformational style. In the authoritarian style, a leader gives instructions on what exactly needs to be done, and by whom, how and when. Communication is also a key factor that influences effective leadership. Effective leaders are able to convey a message to their followers and get appropriate feedback in return. Leadership is not determined by the authority of a position or position but by results. The ability to positively influence the behavior of others to achieve a specified goal is what constitutes effective leadership. Situational leadership is the best approach that can make leaders effective. Leaders need to be flexible and open-minded to be able to use different leadership styles in different situations.
