Pollution is a very delicate subject. Pollution is the contamination of anything by gases, chemicals or waste. First, most of these problems are very preventable. Second, you can pollute things around you just by driving your car or throwing something out the window. Pollution causes very bad things. Animals are dying, our ozone layer is being hit and excited by carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide from our cars and factories, and we are seriously littering everywhere. Ironically, it is the most preventable cause of global warming. I learned from this course that I need to pick up after myself. Recycling is when something is broken down and made into something else or reused something instead of just throwing it away after one or two uses. You have to manually sort the different pieces of plastic, paper and aluminum and take them to the recycling bins found locally. Recycling also reduces the amount of waste we have in our landfills, thereby reducing the amount of plastic we waste and the size of our landfills. If I recycle and throw my trash in the trash instead of throwing it out my car window, I can honestly help save the world. This cuts down on all the things that pets eat that they shouldn't eat because they think it's food or they play with it because they think it's a toy or it doesn't. won't hurt them. Animals get caught in packs of 6 rings wrapped around their throats and they suffocate because we can't cut our can rings very well or recycle them because we're all too lazy. We don't even realize how often or how much we harm our planet and the things on it by throwing trash everywhere. One thing this course taught me is that in my future I will recycle and my family will recycle because... middle of paper... how can you do better than that. (SOMETIMES you get paid, for cans and such) Did you know that Americans alone produce 4.5 pounds of trash per day and over 245 million tons of trash each year? It's absolutely crazy. We all need to come together to recycle, carpool, and do everything we can to end pollution. If we don't do this, our Earth will become really ugly and will probably be burned alive because the atmosphere is so disturbed. We will not have an ozone layer or any other layer to protect us from the sun's rays, and without these layers we will all burn because the sun's rays are so strong and so hot that we cannot be exposed to them , our bodies are not built for that. If we all carpooled and recycled every day, we could save ourselves a really, really ugly future. Please recycle, turn off your lights at home and carpool every once in a while..
