  • Essay / I have a bad dream - 901

We all have daydreams. Sometimes they are good and bad. The bad ones, sometimes we sweat, pee and kick. You know, when a child has a nightmare, he comes to you, you comfort him and hug him so that he sleeps with you. With Indian, they send their child back to bed to teach him to keep the same dream over and over so that he grows up and becomes strong. Reason to talk about it because I had a bad dream about the Deaf Institute. How to solve it, I thought about taking you into my dream. Many hearing people don't know what the Deaf Institute is. Some people hear the idea that a child walks away from his or her parents feeling like a creep or difficult to do because of the way he or she learns and copes. Some people think that children are monsters. This large building has many windows. We enter, there is a long corridor with shiny wooden floors with brown and yellow stains, many doors on both sides. We meet a teacher who shows us the room where all the children live. She turns on the light in the room where there were rows of beds. Few children are still in bed. She had to go wake up a cute child who was still sleeping, she went to tap him on the shoulder, the boy refuses to wake up. She walks to the bathroom and gets a cup of water to throw on the boy to wake him up. He finally woke up, but there's a little one at the end of the bed in a row. You know, old-fashioned beds had rails. She took a stick and knocked on the bed to wake the other children who eventually woke up. All the boys got up and washed their faces etc. The teacher combed their hair. Then it's time for breakfast. He explains that they have a routine. It explains what each teacher did for each class like English, Math and Reading. They tell stories about how once in the dining room, the boys, girls and adults went their separate ways. If they want to tell their girlfriend something they were able to do with... middle of paper... and ask them to remember this teacher and so on. No one left the room. He had total control of the audience. I felt like I was with him when he told the story. I don't often hear about institutes for the deaf because where I come from we don't see many of them. It's sad because some are shy, scared or harder to find today. Watching this and previous videos, I felt he had the skills and heart to share his stories very well. He never made up any lies or anything. He shares from his heart. With this video, I notice that it comes from his heart. It was a hit video because he shared his personal experience from his childhood. From what I saw in class, it's a little different because it's longer and shows more of what's personal. The shorter video has more funny stories or books, but this one is longer and you have to pay more attention to what you have learned..
