Road accidents are the main reason for the increase in the number of deaths. This project is about accidents in Oman. In the first part, I will talk about the definition of car accident and the causes of accidents. This has a negative impact. So I will talk about the effects of road accidents. After that, I will write about different ways to reduce accidents. Next, I will write about car accidents in Oman. Finally, the project ends with some conclusions and suggestions. As Wikipedia (2014) puts it, “a road accident is any event that occurs unexpectedly. Furthermore, it is defined as an accident that causes injury to the driver and other people, or causes damage to other cars. maintenance, weather and driver behavior. As we know, a car accident is an unexpected event. However, driver behavior is usually the primary cause of car accidents.1-Equipment failure: Most types of equipment failure are brake loss and tire blowout.2-Road design : Some drivers complain about road design in the event of an accident. For example, poor roadway location or traffic is in one direction. 3-Driver behavior: Some errors occur when a driver is distracted, due to a telephone conversation, sending text messages or a cup of coffee.4- Road maintenance: The maintenance of roads contributes to accidents such as: Debris on the roadway and discolored road signs can cause accidents.5- Speed: when the driver accelerates the car, the accident can occur.6- Weather: rain can create a accident because the rain makes the road silky and dangerous. Fog is also considered one of the causes of car accidents. As we know, people do not want to get into car accidents. We cannot solve the problem of car accidents with fines and policing alone. Indeed, some drivers only slow down the speed of the car in front of the camera. After that, they return the speeding ticket again. So I advise all drivers to be honest when driving a car. They should also try together to prevent road accidents in order to save our lives..
