One of the things I would have done differently was step out of my comfort zone more. I was able to get back to tasks and service flow quite quickly, which is why my manager gave me a special role called service champion. As a service champion, our duty is to talk and mingle with guests and ask them about their satisfaction so far at the hotel. When I worked as a Service Champion, I was able to speak with customers, but I would have liked to step out of my comfort zone more and take more initiative when speaking with customers. I talked with my other colleagues about how to improve my service and they shared stories about how their experience helped them understand how to provide good services.
