  • Essay / Anxiety and Anxiety Disorders (Anxiety) - 1014

Throughout our lives, we have all suffered from anxiety, and we can all agree that it's not the best feeling in the world. Anxiety causes us to live in constant fear of worrying about what might or might not happen. However, the results are not always what we want. The majority of people with anxiety seek out treatments or medications to help them cope with their anxiety. Living with constant fear of everything holds a person back from all the opportunities given to him because of skepticism, and because of skepticism it causes worry that brings him back to fear, which causes anxiety. The anxiety continues, it's the feeling of an endless tunnel. So what types of medications or therapies can help manage anxiety? Anxiety is one of the worst feelings because it causes a person to worry about a certain situation and leaves them worried for hours, days, and maybe a few months afterward. There are different types of anxiety disorders, including social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and many other disorders. In an article “10 relaxation techniques that eliminate stress quickly” written by Jeannette Moninger presents techniques that help reduce anxiety. Moninger explains that we don't need to retreat, but there is a technique that can calm us down in less than 15 minutes. Many may rely on meditation as a technique to help relieve anxiety. “Research suggests that daily meditation can change neural pathways in the brain, making you more resilient to stress” (Moninger), which is great because it's simple and easy to do, it can possibly help relieve some tension and can also make us feel more at peace. with just a few minutes a day to meditate, which can help us get through our day. Another technique suggested by Moninger is...... middle of paper ......h me and I have to say it's my favorite because I quickly feel at peace when I take 3 deep inhales and exhales . Taking medication is my worst enemy. I hate taking medication, but if it was the last and last resort to help solve the problem, I would take it. Of course, I have to be careful with the dose so as not to become addicted. on the medicine. Of the three medications, systematic desensitization and biofeedback, I would choose systematic desensitization as the best natural way to relieve anxiety. If there is a case where a person can no longer manage their anxiety problem, I would strongly recommend that they go to a doctor to get a prescription to help them reduce their problem. However, it is important to understand the recommended dosage because it is likely that if we take the recommended dose we will become dependent on it, which is worse.
