With this program, a teacher can adapt this center to teach people with diverse abilities such as emotional and intellectual challenges, visual impairments, hearing impairments, and orthopedic impairments. The importance of having a program that adapts to diverse learners, it allows the child to learn at their own level or ability. A child with emotional and intellectual challenges may not have the verbal or comprehension skills or the ability to control their body like their peers. With this in mind, classes with diverse learners can excel with the right curriculum. An activity for example, using large Legos to teach the whole class their colors or numbers, can help with the intellectual challenge by asking them to construct a building using certain colors or quantities.
