Essay / Observation: My Vocation - 1339
I decided to do my field observation at Temple Beth David preschool. This is a private preschool located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. I decided to go to a private school because it is the desired placement for where I would like to teach. I believe I would excel working in a private field. I also appreciate that while teaching a valuable education, it also teaches students about their religion. A small school like Temple Beth David creates a close-knit, family-oriented community. It brings together religious leaders, teachers, parents and students, in order to guarantee its students a high quality, moral and valued education. I hoped this field observation would strengthen my inclination. He did that and more. I never realized how much work it took to be a good teacher. The lesson plans, the mental and emotional strain, and the amount of effort actually required. I learned the value of a unified teaching system, the practices I would like to use in my classroom and those I would not, effective management skills, the educational theories I believe in, those in which I would like to use, and a lot of personal knowledge. skills and values. From the first day of observation, I noticed that time and dedication come with the title of teacher. Being able to just sit and watch really gave me a new perspective. While observing the class, I noticed tiny, but extremely important, details that a teacher must complete. For example, while observing the class, I saw the teacher fine-tuning all the supplies needed for the class projects. I also noticed how the teacher pays so much attention to each of her students, that she knows when the slightest behavior is inappropriate for each student. I took ...... middle of paper ......ess. It opened my eyes to a lot of joy, a lot of stress, and countless hours of lesson preparation. I hope to benefit from as much preparation and insight as possible to become a professional teacher. After this experience, I know that this is what I was born to do; this is my true calling and passion in life. I hope that my teaching inspires my students to achieve greatness and pursue their passions. I now see what a huge responsibility teaching students is: they are our future, as cliché as it sounds, and they are the leaders of tomorrow. This responsibility will come with great sacrifice, dedication and determination, which I will gladly give to ensure the most influential open-minded education for my students. This experience gave me great insight and I'm really excited to finish my degrees and embark on my teaching career..
