Studying abroad is always a method for people to broaden their horizons. Study abroad has become popular around the world since the U.S. Senate issued a resolution designating 2006 as the Year of Study Abroad and released 13 reasons why study abroad programs were essential for the country. These reasons cover the benefits of studying abroad, including increasing global literacy, emphasizing shared values, global cultural exchange, reserving regional specialization, learning from a foreign language, broadening personal interest, experience of practical training and understanding of international affairs.
