  • Essay / Is intelligent design theory a scientific theory?

It also provides a wealth of knowledge about the fossil record and changes in organisms over long periods of time. Despite much research, time frames have been established to visualize this change and the development of current biological groups from common ancestors. However, within this theory there is the idea that it cannot be falsified because we cannot view this record in its entirety and view it absolutely in time. This falsifiability is only true if we cannot test it over time. However, it is the evidence that time brings us that allows us to formulate hypotheses and further tests. When new fossils are discovered that go against a certain part of the theory, it is revised. The opposite of what we see in ID. Revision of part of the theory qualifies it as a good scientific basis.
